Located in Energy City Qatar (ECQ), The Evergreen building, owned and developed by Tadmur Holding, has received Gold LEED certification after having met standards related to energy and environmental design. This building project is also accompanied by strict eco-friendly, Green Building guidelines and GSAS issued for all constructions within ECQ.

According to Dafer Mustafa Hallawa, CEO of Tadmur Holding, the revival of the construction in Qatar and across the region has presented serious environmental issues and concerns. Tadmur Holding’s strong commitment towards sustainable development drives project implementations that strictly complies with and adheres to Global Green Building and eco-friendly quality and standards.

Hallawa also added that the assurance of delivering quality excellence in design and construction are an integral part of the corporate responsibility to the present and future generations of the state of Qatar and the community. Within this achievement, Tadmur Holding claims it will earn more LEED certification for upcoming projects.

With a plot area of 7,044 m² and a total built up area of 21,566 m², Tadmur Contracting has implemented key eco-friendly features such as a water re-use system that results in reduced water consumption, 50% less potable water use for building conveyance through high-efficiency fixtures, an indoor environment quality performance plan, storage and collection facilities for recyclables, photo-voltaic cells/solar panels suitably located on the roof for 15-20% savings on energy, and landscape lighting that comply with LEED light pollution reduction standards. With significant green practices and constructed design, Tadmur Contracting helps reduce carbon footprint and cuts utility bills.
